Deni Robinson: Artistic Director of The Ballroom Blitz.  Ms. Deni is an experienced ballroom competitor and teacher, having taught for over 19 years. She was a United States American Smooth top 6 finalist and American Rhythm Rising Star Champion & top 3rd finalist.  Ms. Deni's experiences as an urban dancer include performances in an MTV series, "Club MTV". She has choreographed for theatrical productions at the Possum Point Players and for local schools. Outside of dancing, Ms. Deni has assisted in classrooms and taught pre-school, which was part of the inspiration for her creation of the Butterflies & Dragonflies children's dance program.

Amany: Amany, Lynne VanHauter, has been teaching Danse du Ventre, Belly Dancing, for over twenty-five years. Her training has included many classes from the masters from New York city, D.C., N.J., Fla., and PA area, with training in the ethnic dances from Morocco, Tunisia, Persia, Lebanon, and Egypt, using the props of cane, sword, spoons, zagats, and veils. She has worked extensively in choreographing using the Middle Eastern music, teaching troupe choreography to dancers to perform in the area, and has worked in preparing dancers to become professional performers and teachers in this area. The dance form is a positive way to make changes in our lives physically, mentally, and spiritually by creating dance within the music, and by joining other women in celebration of womanhood the way that women of the Middle Eastern culture do.

Ms. Tiffany: before coming to The Ballroom Blitz, Ms. Tiffany trained most extensively in the Royal Academy of Dance ballet method, along with CDTA tap, CBTF baton, flamenco, musical theatre, jazz, and classical and theatre vocals. Ms. Tiffany is now also a ballroom instructor at The Ballroom Blitz.

Ms. Shelby: trained in ballet, tap, ballroom, and urban, Ms. Shelby assists with the Butterflies & Dragonflies class, along with her own dancing at The Ballroom Blitz. Ms. Shelby is a member of The Ballroom Blitz Exhibition Team.


The Ballroom Blitz instructors are members of The National Dance Council of America and agree with the NDCA Code of Ethics.
