Studio Guidelines:

The Ballroom Blitz instructors are members of the National Dance Council of America (NDCA) and follow the NDCA Code of Ethics. We insist upon ethical behaviour in our studio: please help us create a safe, welcoming environment for every person by treating others and yourself with respect.

We ask that you arrive punctually, with enough time before your class to warm up and make sure you are ready for class. Waiting area seating is provided at the studio, along with water and a restroom.

Please have your cell 'phone turned off (or to vibrate) during class. Parents: you may call the studio directly if you need to reach your child during a class.

Attire:

To reduce the risk of injury and enable instructors to clearly see your movement, please follow these guidelines: no loose jewelry, no loose hair, no baggy clothing (or trousers/skirt too long); ensure your laces/buckles are securely fastened; have your hair done by the start of class and secure enough to last throughout class. No chewing gum permitted during class.

Attire requirements by class discipline will be presented to you upon registration or see form link below; please see instructors with any questions. We have suggested items for class on the Dance Distributors website (see the Studio Preferred link on the bottom toolbar, use our 'phone number, 302.645.2211, to find the lists) and Discount Dance Supply website (see 4 Teachers link at upper right). See Links for other suggestions. We strive to point out economical choices that match what is needed for your dancing; please just ask if you have any questions.
